[:en]The remains of the Stadium of Domitian lie under Piazza Navona (listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site), about 4,5 metres beneath the street level, covered by a wide skylight. The archaeological area represents the first and only example of brick masonry stadium ever built in ancient Rome. Audio guides (for kids and adults), 3D videos and information boards introduce visitors to the history of ancient sporting activities in the Greco-Roman world, with a particular focus on the history of the Stadium and its hosting location, Piazza Navona.

The site can be booked for special events such as aperitifs, dinners, concerts, art exhibitions and exclusive guided tours. We’re open everyday, 365 days a year.
