The ruins of the Stadium of Domitian (Unesco heritage) in Piazza Navona are located about 4.50 meters above street level. The archaeological site is all that remains of the first and only
example of a masonry stadium up to now known in Rome.
Audioguide, 3D videos, information boards and photographs introduce visitors to the history
of the Stadium and sport disciplines in the ancient Greco-Roman society: wrestling, boxing, discus
throw, javelin throw, long jump with particular attention to the history of the stadium and the square.
